BigWPay Now Supports Apple & Samsung Pay!

You probably use your phone for many daily tasks, such as texting, gaming, shopping. But what about replacing your wallet with it?
Mobile payment apps such as Apple Pay and Samsung Pay give you the ability to make purchases without reaching into your pocket or your bag looking for your physical card. Smartwatches, like Apple and Galaxy, make it even easier, bringing mobile payments to your wrist.
Feeling thrilled with the tech evolution surrounding the payments sector, we have been impatiently waiting to share this exciting news with our current and potential clients.
At BigWPay we now support Apple Pay and Samsung Pay!
From day one, our aim has always been to provide our clients with the most useful, high-tech services in the industry of payment gateways.
Always trying to be ahead of the game, we upgraded our services once again, giving our clients fast, efficient and secure payment methods.
Here’s what you need to know about Apple and Samsung Pay.
Apple Pay
As you probably know, Apple Pay is designed solely for Apple devices and allows its users to make contactless purchases in many different stores with either their iPhone or Apple Watch.
In the US, users can also send payments via iMessage, and recently the Apple Card became another new service that the big high-tech giant offers.
Additionally, Apple Pay also provides up to 3% daily cashback when using Apple Pay with the Apple Card, encouraging users to pay less interest, and also lets them buy apps and games, or pay within apps with a simple touch.
When we say “simple touch” though, we mean it literally.
While internet surfing on Safari either on your iPhone, iPad or Mac, you can use Apple Pay without creating an account. By using the Touch ID service on your MacBook Air and MacBook Pro, customers can make secure purchases within seconds.
According to Apple’s official website, when shoppers make a purchase, Apple Pay uses a device-specific number and unique transaction code. Therefore, your card number is never stored on your device or on Apple servers, and when you pay, your card numbers are never shared by Apple with merchants.
Apple states “spending money shouldn’t mean spending more time at the register.”
We totally agree with this statement!
Samsung Pay
Similarly to Apple Pay, Samsung Pay also uses security set up that it uses a token system for transactions and requires an iris scan, fingerprint ID or PIN to complete a purchase.
It also offers an “extra layer of defence” thanks to its “Samsung Knox” technology, which constantly monitors your phone to keep personal information safe. Therefore, all card information is encrypted in a separate and secure data vault at all times.
Another advantage Samsung Pay has is that in addition to it’s NFC technology, it also uses a magnetic secure transmission technology, which emulates the magnetic stripe of a credit card.
This allows it to be used on conventional magnetic stripe credit card readers at the point of sale.
Samsung Pay can also store almost every card with a barcode, so shoppers can add loyalty, membership and rewards cards to their phones or wearables.
Exciting Times Ahead!
According to Statista’s industry forecasts, Apple Pay is projected to be the leading digital wallet with 227 million users worldwide, up from 140 million users in 2018.
Similarly, Samsung Pay together with Google Pay are expected to reach 100 million users each in 2020.
Thus, we are very excited about adding Apple and Samsung Pay to our services, in order to give our customers the best payment gateway experience.
For merchants to be able to offer their own customers a payment gateway that accepts Apple and Samsung Pay can be a huge advantage, as these types of payments are highly trending and will soon become a necessity.
The technology we use at BigWPay is paramount with state-of-the-art quality and reliability, and we are very glad that our customers and merchants can now have access to a whole new audience thanks to these additional types of payments.
Our goal is to always live up to the highest security standards, in order to offer the best all-in-one payment solutions for our clients. Don’t hesitate to contact us today to discuss if BigWPay is right for your business.
